i suppose everyones chu yi's about e same. run around visiting relatives and stuff.
for me, its as mundane (: as ever. my family also runs between redhill (place where my two ah gongs stay) and boon lay (place where we feast as one) on a yearly basis. it becomes predictable after a while. i'm not glumpy right now, just a lil restless. lol. so yeah it was business as usual today, of cos my grandpa asked me about GF again. it was so 'damn' i'm telling u. if only he could stop asking and give me some peace. sam boy brought his second gf today which further added salt to e wound for me. grandpa was DRILLING me yo. lol. so i was smacked between my two sisters and their spouses most of e time, GREAT.
all e wealth accumulation got me tired after a while. i dun quite like e idea of visitng on cny now. its pretty stupid actually. theres no purpose to it, just pure i'm doing it because its a tradition thing. b-o-r-i-n-g! i'm sure many feel e same way too just that they dun wanna say it out loud. its fine yo, always remember its customary to be nice and all during cny, unless u wanna be condemned by ya family, pls put on a facade.
well i did have fun, IN A WAY. my uncle from my mothers side brought this ultra cute lil gal today, i made her cry cos i was too rushing to get a pic with her.nevertheless after a few hoaxing, i finally managed to get a pic with her! she's so oh my freaking goodness god damn cute! and heres e catch, she's a malaysian. dude jo ure really a sucker for malaysians. lol!
so when i left e place she was like 'bye bye kor kor' to me and that totally made my day. her voice was so c-u-t-e!! makes me contemplate having a baby gal next time when i'm married but that doesnt mean i'm sexist right from e start. its just, ppl always say its good to have a heir first to carry on e generation shit and i'm pretty sure my grandpa would want me to give him a baby boy next time. but yeah, all i'm saying is, a baby girls awfully adorable too!
i'm so tired after a days of visiting, finally can just relax and be myself all over again. i'm so done with drinking fizzy drinks, so done with putting on a listening front. its time to unwind and relax. happy cny all (:
